The Royal Exchange Hotel Broken Hill is Centally located and worth a stay. It has had a huge renovation and restoration but still keeping with the old world charm. Our room situated on the first floor (via a lovely staircase) was in the corner front overlooking Argent Street with the view of the Broken Earth Cafe from the large Balcony. The large bed was firm but comfortable with a choice of pillows, lovely heavy drapes and the ensuite had all the little extras you would expect. Our hosts Carol and Michael were just great, filling us in on all the local goss and history and while having a quiet drink at their private bar in the lounge area we were made to feel at home and amoung friends.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment but it looked great. We would stay here again.
