Stayed here a couple of weeks earlier and as we were returning through Broken Hill, decided to stay at the Lodge Outback Motel again. Had a different room in the outside motel section this time but still found it on the small size and need of updating. The carpet was stained (oil spots and other marks) and the curtains need... We stayed in this motel on the 14th Jan 2012 after reading other trip advisor reviews. It was a lovely quite place to stay only wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was a queen spa room which was small but gorgeous, amazingly comfortable bed and everything we needed was there, even a perculator for coffee :) Would definitely... More

We stayed in a newly renovated spa room which was very nice and cosy. Unfortunately the spa wasn't working and reception was closed by the time we'd worked this out. Being the main reason we chose this room we were very disappointed. Otherwise a worthwhile place to stay. More

We would like to offer our apologies for your disappointment. We are currently renovating the adjacent rooms and unfortunately the electrician had forgotten to turn the power back on for the spa. As part of our apology we would like to offer you a 10% discount on your next visit to the Lodge Outback Motel - we hope to see... More

This was not an expensive place therefore I do not wish to be unfair but the motel rooms are very basic. The main hotel looked better inside. Broken Hill was wonderful. More

Thank you for the review. We aim to please and have a selection of different rooms ranging from the budget room - where a comfy bed is most important. To the more up-market renovated room including free wi-fi and spa. When possible, we are happy to move guests to another room which is more suited to their needs. Please let... More

Booked a few days before we arrived. Christine (I think her name was) at the front desk was ever so helpfull! We go a free beer each on arrival (thank you) and enjoyed it sitting out the front in the peacful setting of the hotel with its fountain and lighting. I would definetly stay here again, excellent value for money. More

We chose to stay here as looking on the website it seemed nice and fair in price. Our room was, I think, called deluxe queen with spa. It was situated within the home area ( there are other rooms in a traditional motel style look to the side of the home). We booked by phone a few weeks in advance... More

We had a three night booking at The Lodge but when we arrived there was no record of the booking. We had made the booking by phone six days before arriving. As The Lodge and most of the other hotels and motels in Broken Hill were fully booked we were facing a bit of a problem. The lady at the... More

Stayed two nights in luxury Heritage room. Motel has nice garden and surrounds. Room was large, but not heritage or luxurious. Bathroom very small, bed comfortable. Despite questioning their "free wireless internet access to every room" before booking and been assured it would be ok, we could only fluke access for about half an hour early one morning - useless.... Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the internet we are not sure why it was not working that day but have not had any other troubles since then. We do pride ourselves on cleanliness so I do apologise but I did offer to reclean the floor when you aproached me about this issue. More

Bit away from the town (about 3-4 blocks so no big deal), about 2 blocks to a supermarket, $85 a night seemed fair. There's a concrete motel block next to a nice old house which was a doctors address way back which I think has rooms too. The staff are friendly if not a bit Fawlty Towers really :) More

We spent two nights in a Heritage room. The room was tastefully decorated with good quality furnishings, bedding etc and was more than adequate for us. Situated a short walk from town and a good base to explore the district from. I am not sure what the other rooms were like but I was impressed with ours. More
