When I booked this place, I expected a much flashier and upmarket experience. Instead, it was really more average with more being spent on marketing. The property is a collection of building spread over what seems to be an old industrial area. Everything seemed small and squashed. In general, it felt like someone was cutting corners and trying to pack... More

Their New king room were superb & well worth the few extra dollars. This was one of the best on our 12 day outback trip. Room were very large, clean & v comfortable. Theses room were well away from the main complex so there was no noise to be heard at all. Breakfast wasn't the best unfortunately, especially the cooked... More

Booked in one night stay for a trip to Dubbo Zoo. Clean, modern was ok. The shower was the best bit about the stay. Stayed in many top hotels/motels around the world and this certainly wasnt up to the standards of a 4.5 star rated property, 3 at best. The breakfast started out really good until I found a blonde... big clean rooms, buffet breakfast has plenty to eat. If visiting Dubbo with families the motel also has appartments that are worth exploring. More

I stayed here for business. The room was quite pleasant and modern. A colleague who used to stay somewhere else and stayed at this hotel liked it better too. The restaurant was quite packed and food was great. The only complain was the food took a while to arrive. Probably more than 40 minutes for the mains that it was... More

We stayed in a new 2 bedroom apartment, which was very spacious, we were attracted to this option as it was handy having a separate room for our son. We got a good rate and was excellent value. Only real complaint was the bed sheets were crunchy and uncomfortable! Whilst the breakfast is v good value, we would have liked... More

We stayed one night while going to visit the Zoo. We opted for the King Superior room which is one of the newly refubished rooms which cost $165 on a Saturday night. The room was modern and well furnished. It had a flat screen TV and nicely appointed bathroom. It was quite dark in the room due to black blinds... More

Made the booking based on the 4.5 star rating. Room was a queen superior and although was clean, it was not worthy of 4.5 star rating. With regard to breakfast, presentation and cereal choice could be improved. More

Thank you for your review. Our Queen Superior Rooms when being Star Rated impressed the AAA Tourism reviewer so much so that the Australian Manager flew up from Melbourne to see them specially. Its always good to get customers views though, but it would be good to know where we did not meet your expectations . In regards to breakfast... More

Standard Room was spacious with clean, stylish bathroom. It is conveniently across the road from cafes and restaurants so you don't have to drive into Dubbo CBD to have dinner. Bed wasn't all that comfortable and the ceiling and walls seemed paper-thin. We were woken up at different times during the night...once by a motorbike roaring down the road, twice... More

Thank you for your review. In response to the comments we are on a highway of which nearly all motels in the city are. The rooms that you have stayed in are double brick between rooms with a double rated gyprock plaster either side of that. They are definately not paper thin. I know this because we have personally designed,... More

Recently have stayed at Cattleman's, We stayed 2 nights in the queen superior - it was very modern, the shower was an absolute dream, It was a nice place to stay as with anything though there are always pro's & Cons. WHAT I DID LOVE: Shower, blockout curtains and the food was devine (although very pricey), undercover parking, across the... More

Thank you for your review. We do have Austar cable/ pay TV in all our rooms and have done for a long time. The only reason you would not have recieved it may be because the TV needing re-tuning which can happen from time to time. If that ever does occurs again or you need something attended to, just give... More
