The Tudor hotel may not look like a peaceful quiet location from the exterior, however after finding a way into the hotel the staff were kind and always willing to help. Only problems encountered was a complicated parking garage due to limited space (however plenty of parking on side street). Great place to stay for a quick stopover in Newcaslte.

Great rooms with comfy beds and very clean. Friendly service and close to the pub, bowling club and restaurants. Do good breakfasts too. Would definitely stay again.

I agree with the previous reviewer that it looks a bit shabby from the outside but the room was fine - good bed and adequate bathroom. Price also seems pretty good for Newcastle. Only downisdes were that all rooms are upstairs (no lift) and no free internet. Easy walk to restaurants in Beaumont Street.
