Look forward to small rooms that are extremely cheaply furnished and decorated. The bathroom is a prefabricated plastic box in the corner of your room - it felt like you were in a portaloo. This hotel has rather small rooms and very small bathrooms. Being on a main road it is also very noisy. The surrounds of the hotel are unpleasant with lots of empty buildings, graffiti and this is where the homless people live. They throw bottles out broken windows and fight most nights. You would not walk down this street at night... more

Stayed at the Ibis 2 nights ago after a night out in Newcastle. Didn't spend much time there, however the room was adequate, nice little bathroom. Its all you need for a quick stay. I scored the foldout twin bed which was rather like being in hospital but other than that it was fine. Good buffet brekky in the morning. more
