We stayed at the Coachman in 2007 and 2008 and had asked around before going to Parkes to try and find somewhere central. We liked it so much the first time we had no hesitation in going back last year. The coachman is right in the centre of town and has a full bar and restaurant attached. The motel rooms are around the back and so despite the bar opening late there was little noise in our room. Most other motels in town are on the highway and whilst some are newer and of a higher standard (or part of a chain) this motel is ideal if you want to have a few drinks in town. It's around the corner from a large club and there are numerous places to eat and drink within staggering distance. The rooms are not the newest but are neat and tidy and suited our purpose. The restaurant served a great meal and we also had breakfast in the room last time which was also good. They have two classes of room (I think we stayed in the standard one).
