Good location, on the water, very short walk to centre of town. Rooms were clean but basic. We stayed in a one bedroom/studio - i.e. no separate bedroom which was fine for one night. Staff were friendly. Wouldn't go out of my way to stay their again but as a one nighter on the way to Sydney it was fine. more

The Country Comfort is a step above the highway-side motor inns, but perhaps not to the standard you would hope for in that price bracket. Stayed here on the way up the coast. The hotel has a real 'motel' feel about it. Decor is very dated, looks like it had been decorated in the 1980s. Room was clean though.
