Whilst the location is great, the attention to the small things was disappointing. Staff were great. Online booking didn't get throug to staff on time. Room smelt disgusting, curtains were all ripped. No screen on door to enable us to open door for fresh air to get rid of smell without the insects getting in. The friendliness of the staff was a highlight at this property. The location is very central however very noisy when locals were leaving hotels very late Saturday night/Sunday morning. Food was terrific. Would be great for business travellers mid week without the late night revellers.

The Mercure Centro is located right in the shopping district and very close to the water. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Staff were very friendly and professional. Staff were very helpful the room was clean and comfortable.the restaurant was ok but a bit pricey.happy hour from 530 to 7 was good and prices were reasonable.stayed a couple of days and the weather was great.would stay here again.
