We stayed at the beachcomber during the off peak season. It was a great value in a great location. It is very close to the Gold Coast airport and close to many tourist destinations. The large spacious rooms with amazing balcony views really made our trip enjoyable and relaxing. Compared to the crazy and rowdy atmosphere of Surfer's Paradise, the Beachcomber was our little piece of Gold Coast paradise. The beachcomber has great facilities for a great value. The front desk was very helpful, especially Josephine who during her first weeks of work there really helped organize our activities. The two pools and hot tubs were enjoyable, as well as the bbq area. Parking was included in a secure basement garage. The kitchen as well as the washer and dryer really came in handy. Overall we were very happy with our week there. more
