The location of the resort was ideal with great walks and views of the platypus in the morning and evening within easy reach of the lodges.. The chalets were clean but tired. This is off the beaten track but well worth it. It is the most reliable place to see Platypus in their natural habitat and we were not disapointed! This hotel is located in a beautiful national park, surrounded by rain forest, and right next to a river with great hikes and platypus. The units are rustic, and in great need of an uplift but they were comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant was great. Be sure to order the "boomerang". more
