We were just looking for a stopover and expectations were not very high but the room was great, bed comfy, clean and we had no complaints. There was no noise and we enjoyed a good nights' sleep. Reception was very friendly and professional and I would be happy to stay here again.

Stayed a week for business trip to Mackay. Lots of mine workers arround but surprisingly quite. Room was o.k. clean neat but nothing special. The place had a very hospital drab feeling about it. Everyone was polite and helpful but just didnt feel welcoming. The place lacked warmth or life.

The room was clean, neat & tidy. Reception staff were helpful and dinner in the restaurant was really nice. Close to everything, no complaints here. Would definately stay again next time that im in Mackay.

The good - clean rooms and toilet. Smoking free zones. Air conditioning works well. Clean sheets and towels. Stocked minibar. Good location on Nebo road. Pleasant and accommodating reception personnel. The bad - too expensive for mediocre rooms and services. Poor design for swimming pool. No wireless Internet available. Expensive restaurant fare. Uncomfortable chairs and poor lighting design.
