I've been staying here because I'm in Mackay for a longer time period than usual at the moment, and didn't feel like paying $150+ for a "real" hotel. As backpacker's go, I'd rate this one above average... and cleanliness wise, find it above average even compared to full motels/hotels in Mackay.
