Awesome little hotel, recently refurbed modern clean well maintained tidy good restaurant next door friendly staff. No good for smokers tho (yay). Off street parking great value free Wi fi . Room 12 is small but as I'm only crashing the night it's fine

We had to stay in Mackay for one night and this motel did the job. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. It's close to Canelands shoppingcentre, the Blue Lagoon and the restaurants on Victoria Street. The managers are really friendly. Bring some earplugs if you want a good sleep, because it can be noisy.

This motel was a great little find...Close to the center of town the manager was very freindly after a delayed flight and no sleep early check in was no problem. The rooms are clean and a good size although the bathrooms a little small if your tall like me and my boyfriend. All in all had a relaxing 2 nights... More

I stayed at this motel based on the reviews and high ranking. The rooms are old, dated, and mine had a wonky, stained door connecting it to the room next door. Parking is atrocious, the noise from other guests unbearable and I could hear everything from the next door room. The guests who sat outside my room and drank and... More

My husband and I stayed here for a night during our stopover to Cairns. The room is spacious with cutlery provided. However, en suite is very small and there is no hand/face towels provided. $130 for a night is considered steep, but it was Christmas Day.

Stayed one night in this small property in Mackay. The managers were very helpful and friendly, and warned us that 4 in a room would be compact. The aircon was great, fridge didn't work and bathroom - should I say shower room very tight.

This place looked OK online, but in the flesh is very much your 1970's style motel. Ok, it's been tarted up sometime in the past couple of years but hey it's a motel. It's main clientele are fly-in-fly-out mining workers and occasionally it has room for passing travellers. Our room was somewhat jaded, the carpet worn and the bathroom small,... More

This is a perfectly decent motel, clean, functional and quite spacious. I was really impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, who did provide a really lovely welcome and helped us find our way about town and get sorted for our drive on the next day.
