We arrived late on Friday night, for a 2 night stay due to a family wedding (held at the resort). 3 of us were sharing a triple room, but I hardly got any sleep since one of the beds creaked noisily anytime one of us moved on it. We stayed at Dolphin Heads Resort for one night during a last minute stop-over in Mackay and found our stay to be relaxing and enjoyable. Dolphin Heads is pretty remote, so if you stay here, you'll definitely want a car. There is little to do. No one was on the beach; no one was by the pool.
