Coming from Longreach we picked the first hotel in Mount Isa which looked ok from the outside. No staff present only arriving after a phone call. Price was AUD 115,--. We didnot check the room first and that was a mistake. Small, not clean, loud music from the adjacent room and a dirty terras with cigarets butts all over. Don't want to waste more words on it.
