Country looking dark brick buildings, has some street appeal.
Reception was attended and everything seemed orderly until I asked where one might smoke if I wished to. " There's no smoking in the rooms" I was very definately told. (No big surprise there, I wouldn't smoke in any motel room anyway!)
The ashtrays are clay pots "over at the boundary fence of the property." and "close the room door if you're going to smoke outside!" (15 feet away from the door in torrential rain and no shelter...hmmm)
In the room notices tell you that the mattresses are sanitized by some wonderful method. The bathroom still had a little coating of bleach in the shower base and in the sink, well can't be too sure can you?
The room was spotless, the beds comfortable (slept much better knowing they had been sanitized and non-allergenic and steamed etc. etc.)
