We stayed in this hotel during WOMAD festival. We booked for two nights but ended staying only one night as the room we booked has no windows at all and very very small (althought it was a triple room for two persons!). We upgraded to their family room with a window which cost the same as in a decent hotel.... more
The beach hostel at Glenelg was a busy place but the staff were welcoming and friendly. It was our first stay in a hostel and we found it to be very good value for money. The beds/linen were clean and the heritage building is great! more
Glenelg is about 10 minutes drive from central Adelaide (and airport), or 20 minutes by the lovely old trams. It is the coastal resort for South Australia, has lots of bars, small resturants and shops. The Esplande covers the entire front and beach, with a new development at one end with a marina, apartments and smarter dockside bars and resturants... more
