Stayed for one night at this motel in May of 2009. It was cheap, only costing us $69 for a queen room. We were on a serious budget so couldn't stay anywhere over $80.

The rooms are old, and I mean OLD! The toilet pipes were rusty, the shower had great pressure (which we noticed was lacking in VIC) but was kinda gross, there were 3 lights in the room that didn't work. The walls are thin and we had some VERY noisy guest in the room next door.

The advantage is that the owner is super nice and was very helpful in pointing out attractions and giving us a map and showing me how to get around. This was very much appreciated. Also the motel is really close to one of the best sinkholes, within walking distance - about 300m.

I wouldn't stay here again though unless I was on a budget again, but for an extra $20 i'm sure that we could have gotten something a lot nicer. more
