The Arthouse is an amazing old timber building now a hostel with dorms and private rooms. We stayed in a private room for four days and were happy with our stay and so we stayed again for one night afew days later. There are many different locations to "hang out" in this hostel, 2 lounge rooms with big tv's, and... more

The location is a bit far from the Launceston CDB but still consider OK! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great hostel and comfortable bed! more

The Arthouse hostel in Launceston was extremely comfortable. The rooms were very spacious and warm (freezing cold in Tasmania in june) and the tv room and kitchen were comfortable and well managed (recycling etc) The staff were what made the experience so pleasant.... very friendly and very helpful! top marks! more
