my wife and I recently stayed 1 night and at 11.00 at night we summoned the non resident manager from her bed to move us to a quieter room. To avoid the road noise and the nearby loud town clock which chimes every 15 minutes day and night, we ended up in a bedroom with no window. Checked out early... more

Stayed here for three nights with the extended family as we were in Launceston for a wedding. The hotel itself was fantastic - great service by the staff, very spacious and clean self contained rooms, close to all the shops, restaurants etc. This was exactly what we needed as none of the family had been to Launceston before other than... more

There are many fine things about Quest Launceston. The location is fantastic, the apartments new, well equipped and airy. Good value for money too. Except . . . We had heard about the noise from the bell tower, but this turned out to be quite pleasant and not too intrusive. However, the youth of Launceston likes nothing more than driving... more

We really liked ther Quest. The rooms were huge (yes, the bedroom is separate) and clean and wel stocked with all the necessities. The staff were superb and very helpful (thank you Paula in particular) and it is very well located in the main shopping part of the CBD. Just be aware that next to nothing is open in Launceston... more

This is a very good place to stay with a family. It is within walking distance of shops river etc. The are two inconveniences - parking and access with bags is a bit of problem because of the front stairs. - The town clock while it does not bother me it may bother some people with its consistant chime. we... more

We chose Quest Launceston because it was newly renovated and had stayed and been happy at many other Quest properties. We were in Launceston for National All Schools Athletics Championships, so good sleep was rather essential to running well at this pinnacle of competition for primary school kids. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have nightmares from the historic clock tower... more

Stayed 1 night on business. Check in were helpful even though very busy and accommodated an early check in without fuss. Room was of a high standard and clean. Well equipped for those wishing to prepare food in. Located centrally within easy walking distance of most things you will probably want to see in Launceston. A couple of blocks to... more

We stayed at the Quest for 7 nights in Sept 2008. For $Aus130 per night it was great value. The appartments are new and spacious, consisting of a large bedroom with big wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. The bathroom is large and includes a clothes washer and dryer but as someone previously mentioned could do with some more shelf... more

The quest in Launceston was better than we expected. We used wotif.com and got a great deal (about $110 i think). The unit was bigger than we thought, especially the bathroom. Pro's to this place: Decent sized bathroom Huge bed (king i think) large fridge/freezer and dishwasher nice views Right in the cbd Cons to this place: The free movies... more
