A really fantastic place to stop along the coast, for a couple or family. The self contained lodge I stayed in was clean and was open plan living which was great, waking up and looking out to the water through the clearing was beautiful, with all the different birds and lots of kangaroos at your doorstep. I recommend to take... More

We stayed in a 1bd unit over the Easter period. The accommodation was very spacious and felt private. Mostly clean on arrival, although bench was covered in crumbs, and crockery / glassware needed rewashing. We brought our own duvet & pillows on advice from friends who recently stayed, worth doing as supplied duvet is very light weight and it can... More

We would like to compliment the owners a unique development which allows the local wildlife (kangaroos, echidnas, swans, birds) to enjoy this place as much as the guests. The well designed lodge we stayed in had an uninterrupted view from the split level bedroom into the bush full of ancient banksia trees. The indoor/outdoor swimming pool was a great benefit in... We paid $200/n for a 2 bed spa unit on Wotif and whilst this is more than our budget usually allows we were very happy and definitely felt it was worth it. The apartment was spacious, clean, light-filled and comfortable with fantastic views of the inlet. The staff were very friendly and I'm not just talking about the kangaroos. Location... More

2 nights wasn't enough!...loved hand feeding the kangaroos and the rosellas on the veranda. We left the blinds open and were treated to the most magnificent sunrise!...great for nature loving couples who just want to chill....Planning to return soon! Loved it!

What a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Hosts are helpful, very secluded resort. Lots of activities if you want or if not just walk around or laze. Units are bright and roomy. But best lf all the wildlife that just drops in, various kinds of birds, bunnies and the most friendly, cuddly, curious (and hungry) kangaroos. We fed them... More

We showed up at a bad time during the flooding season, but despite the ground being soaked, the weekend was great. Started with the kangaroos coming up to the porch to be hand fed. Kids we out of the minds with excitement and even more the following morning when the entire pack came. Kookaburras were everywhere. Great living accommodations including... More

Stayed at the Huon lodge mid-Spring arriving to a perfectly balanced view of the lake, jetty and bushlands directly from our residence. Furthermore, in the evening, we were greeted by friendly resident kangaroos which my partner was very content in feeding. The feeds are provided by the site and the staff are happy to refill if you want to feed... More

This is a magical property. The wildlife and environment was my utopia. We stayed during the 'off peak' season and as it was secluded was a very relaxing experience. Hosts were very helpful. There was not a lot of 'add on' once you were there everything was available at no extra cost. If you are a nature lover and like... More

Far away from the maddening crowd. Pack the car full of supplies, then park up for a few days and enjoy the peace and quiet. You can do as much or as little as you want. Basic but spacious accommodation and good facilities all backed up by the very friendly and helpful owners. Perfect spot for a bit of R&R.
