Thought Oscars had it all - great location very close to centre of Ballarat. Excellent accommodation - room was comfortably furnished with some nice little extras such as chocolates and decent toiletries. Bathroom was excellent - double shower superb! Given that we'd booked a room that sounded very 'standard' this more than exceeded expectations. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant/bar area downstairs was always pleasantly buzzing. Breakfast was included and this was delicious - not a huge range to choose from, but great coffee and very tasty muesli. Would definitely recommend Oscars. more
