I just love the restaurant at Barkly's Motor Lodge. Whilst located on a very busy intersection, it is surprisingly quiet inside due to excellent sound-proofing. The meals are great! Arrived very late at night, was greeted by a happy staff member who went out of there way to make us feel welcome.Room lovely,warm & cosy.Slept through breaky but enjoyed a yummy lunch at a good price.We ended up staying an extra night just to unwind & relaxe enjoying the service. Would recommend good value for money

This is NOT a 4 star Motel, at best 2 star, blinds dont close,very noisy on main Rd,shower over high sided bath, needs complete renovation very tired, restaurant overpriced Do not recommend!!

The Barkly was our choice as we had arrived fairly late and had not booked , cosy , comfortable beds , restaurant good and clean. But interior is looking very tired in need of a face lift.

We stayed two nights and considered staying a third. We arrived at the Best Western in person and managed to get the last room. This is because we had booked into another motel over the internet and found it to be very different from its description. We found the complex delightful.
