There are a few motels on the strip along the lake. They are all very popular. This one was full on the first night so we had to stay elsewhere, but we went in early the following day and got the last room. There are only 6 but they are all beautiful. The owner was away at the time and the motel was in the care of Jenny and her husband. They were absolutely wonderful and full of energy. The rooms are really apartments with lounge kitchen separate bedroom and large bathroom with spa. The lounge has TV and stereo and a nice surprise is the gas log fire. All furniture and linen are of the best quality and the beds must have been very expensive. The owner obviously strives for the best and most expensive fittings and furnishings. Spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere.
Although the motel is close to the highway, there is no road noise as the rooms are well insulated and the windows and doors are well sealed to avoid this.
