Stayed in the Homestead cottage early in Jan 2006. Huge 2 bedroom place with all mod cons except dishwasher. Furniture nohing trendy but comfortable. Friendly staff with beautiful bush setting with kookaburras etc. Pool and tennis court. Not far from the beach and nice to be staying a bit out of town in high season. Fun 9 hole golf course around the corner.

Price 220 for 2 bedroom house--2 couples so that was AU 55 per person in high season--very reasonable indeed.

In short, a really good spot for families or 2 couples who do not feel the need to be right on the water.
