My husband and two daughters stayed at this hotel for two nights with another family, who booked their stay separately to when I booked ours. I did a lot of research on the net and this place looked like the best available in Shepparton. We wanted something really nice, so asked for the two bedroom, 5 star room which was the most expensive (AUD260) room in the place. Our friends booked a room with a queen bed and a pull-out sofa (AUD139). Our friends asked for the rooms to be close by so that our daughters could easily go from one room to another if they liked.
When we both checked in together, they had accidently given away our friends room to another guest, so our friends were quite annoyed and asked for a better room. The staff at the desk were very obliging and gave them keys to two other rooms close by, and asked them to see which room they would prefer. All the rooms offered were clean, but quite dated.
