On a recent stay in St kilda I found the Cosmopolitan close to trams, within walking distance to local attractions and with a secure car park. i had stayed in the hotel for a 31 days in july - august. it was fun being there. Its a budget hotel with rent of 99$ a night to 150-175$ on weekends with clean rooms, good internet facility. morning breakfast is great. Wish they can provide lunch and dinner facilities there... though it was great overall... well i preferred... more

This was my first trip to Oz and I spent my first 6 nights in March here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. So close to the beach, tram line (choice of two) and within a coupleof minutes walk to the quirky streets of St Kilda. I would recommend a drop to the Sunday market along the Esplande. ! more

Ah...This is difficult as on one hand, the Cosmopolitan is modern, friendly, has car parking and is right in St Kilda but on the other hand, if you really can't stand any noise, don't stay here.
