Been to Kal a few times with work and always happy to be at The Rydges. I have never had a problem, always clean , great pool but pricey bar. Food is good in the hotel and front desk staff have always been good. more

I stayed at The Rydges for a business trip for 5 days. The room I stayed in was just lovely! Very large with a spa and MASSIVE shower. Work put us up here for a couple of weeks while we found somewhere to live. Initially in a 'spa suite' but we soon got sick of takeaway and room service and needed more to cook with than the microwave in our room, so asked and got relocated to a 1 bed kitchenette with living room area and separate bedroom.... more
I stayed here for a night a few weeks ago, room was nice. Free moves did not work, staff were unsure of what they were doing, woken up by a maid too see if I was checking out that day, that was at 8.30 am. Not up to a 5 star standard at all. not very good value for money.... more
Thank you for commenting on your recent stay at the hotel. I apologise about the lack of free movies during that time. Technical errors from our supply company restricted the facilities for some time during the early part of May. A new system is currently being sourced to ensure there is no repeat of this. Wont stay there again..food at the resuraunt was appaling for the price, cheese was stale,the wine was flat and the whole meal tasted old..the staff looked hungover and had no respect for the hotel manager..rooms were ok but over all, not worht the money i paid. Rated 5 star, Potential with good management to be a 5 star...actual 3 star..... more
Dear Sir, Thank you again for bringing this to my attention. All of the issues you bring to light are not typical of the standard that Rydges Kalgoorlie wishes to deliver. The staff, food and service have all been under review and training, and we are sure that any furutre stays you may have with us will be trouble free....
