Had a couple of days in Kalgoorlie, went to the horse races, superpit and down a mine and stayed at the Comfort Inn Midas. Being close to town means a 15 minute walk or so and on the main road in from the west but limited disruption from traffic noise. Motel has all the facilities with a pool, restaurant and laundry which befits a reasonably sized motel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with separated bathroom rooms.
As a low to mid range priced motel it meets a demand with pleasant and efficient staff. A member of the group did not have a TV the first night and the management were at pains to put that right so definitely put their money where their mouth is when it comes to service which is a rare event. more
