While a visit to Margaret River and area is highly recommended, you would do well to stay elsewhere. Our room ( a double ensuite) was run down, the bathroom was far from clean, and the kitchen was not any better. After reading reviews of some noise problems with the main lodge, I asked to be placed in a single room in the other building. I didn't notice any problems with the main building, but I can recommend the other/back building. Even the shared rooms looked nice. This hostel is rude and racist. They continually ignored me while I stayed there, and served other people, who arrived way after I did, before me. There are better options in town, like the Inne Town Backpackers and the Riverview Tourist Park. Unless you want to be treated like trash, I suggest you check one of the numerous other budget... more
