I travelled to Palmerston North for my Fathers Funeral with my mother, two brothers their wives and children. We chose the Arena because of its good central location and based on a quick search of the internet. We had little to go on but are very pleased with our choice as Brent and Stephanie are delightful hosts, the motel is really really well laid out and well equipped, nothing was too much trouble. We had two 3 bedroom units which were comfortable and modern, the facilities first class, just really clean and everything you could hope for. The location is quiet and right opposite the rugby ground if you are in town for the footy. Its about a 10 minute walk to the town square. We took taxis though as we are a bit lazy. I would definately stay at the Arena again and recommend without hesitation. more
