We stayed with Jacquie and Graham Hamlett for the second time, but definitely not the last. The rooms are spacious, friendly and very comfortable. Each romm has got French Doors to a comfortable terrace with a marvelous view over the valley and the river. Jacquie and Graham are great hosts helping with every wish and question you have, And Jacquie... more

This was our first experience of a true Kiwi welcome; upon our arrival Jacqui made us a welcoming cup of tea and we explored the beautiful gardens, with splendid views, together. The room was comfortable and quiet, with its own patio area. There was a comfortable guest loungs, with drinks available, and the breakfasts cooked by Jacqui were excellent. Both... more

Cotswold Cottage sits on top of a small hill overlooking the sea, racecourse and mountains, and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The hosts, Jacqueline and Graham have extensive experience within the hospitality business, and run a tight ship. We called ahead to enquire about dinner but were told more notice was needed so we cannot comment on the standard... more

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our 14 day tour of the North Island in New Zealand. We wanted to see some of the Coromandel Peninsula but also be close to Auckland so we could have an easy drive to the airport on our last day. The Cotswold Cottage B&B proved to be an ideal place... more

We stayed two nights in the Neatherwood Room after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor. The bedroom was nice and had a heater so we were able to keep it warm enough. There was a sofa if you wanted to sit and read. On the downside, the bathroom had a strange big jacuzzi-style bath with no shower curtain, and... more

I am sorry that this reveiwer was not completly happy with their stay with us I explained to these guests that I was just finishing a luncheon for 6 and appoligised for Gray not being there due to him being in hospital . The comment about the lights in the bath room had me a bit puzzeled as I showed...

We arrived at Cotswold Cottage in the pouring rain, to find nobody home but a note and a room key. Jacqui and Graham (we found out later) had unexpectedly been caught in traffic but had left us everything we needed, including hot tea and wonderful cookies, in their little solarium. We ended up leaving for dinner in Thames before they... more

We arrived at Cotswold Cottage after the 25 hour flight direct from the UK and what a delight it was to find such a lovely place and great hosts. Our first time in NZ and a great welcome. The last three nights of our three week visit to New Zealand were wonderful at Cotswold Cottage (highly recommend at least three days to see eastern, western, and northern part of peninsula). Jacqui and Graham were most thoughtful and welcoming with tea or coffee and sweets or snacks after a day of exploring the Coromandel Peninsula. They also assisted in... more
