Stayed for a few nights over Xmas holidays. Great service and location in the Wanganui area. Kids loved the play area and park and river right opposite. Everything Wanganui has to offer within walking distance. Spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Great value for money

Stayed here for 4 nights over Xmas. Friendly hosts. Very fussy wife declared that the standard of cleanliness very high. Excellent location - handy to everything. Vehicle access was good with no traffic worries. Good Sky T.V. coverage.

Very loud traffic noise, and full of flies. Dated and couch looks as if it came from an op shop. Stayed in a fabulous apartment in Auckland last week for similar cost. Office person not interested in assisting to quieter unit. Because of location probably all similar.

We were given instructions to get to the motel from the booking sheet, and thanks to these found it easily, despite unfamiliarity with Wanganui city roads. This is an older style motel that we found to be clean and tidy and the owner was very helpful. If you are looking for a tidy bugdet motel I would recommend Astral.
