Located about 6km from Greymouth, so a car is essential. It is very close to the beach, 2 minute walk if that. There was a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and hot plate which was handy. The room at night was absolutely freezing. The heaters were just not adequate, we had 2 heaters going and we had three layers of clothing on and blankets and where still freezing. Bathroom had a bandaid in the shower. So that was not good. more

We stayed here in February 08 for 2 nights. Booked the large 2 bedroom unit & it was huge! Full kitchen, dining table, huge lounge & the biggest tv I have even seen in a motel. Very clean & very comfortable, the 2 bedroom large unit is situated right at the back of the complex so it is a lot quieter than the other units would be. 4 adults & 1 baby stayed very comfortably in this unit. The motel has a internet room which is really handy to check your email on the go & is a very short walk to a beautiful beach with heaps of greenstone on it. more
