We stayed one night here in a powered camp site over Easter weekend. Nice and quiet as it isnt situated near the main roads. Nicely appointed showers and kitchen. Yeah its a little older than others but it has a great feel to it. The owners were great and very welcoming.

Stayed for one night on a motorcycle trip around the South Island. Service at reception was a bit cold (possibly concerned we would turn out to be motorcycle hoons). Camped in an unpowered site here for two nights over the Christmas holidays the facilities were to say the least very poor and dated. There was copious amount of rubbish and timber lying around the place, not something you want to be looking at when you are on your holidays. Would not recommend this place nor would i stay again.

The caravan park and bathrooms are old which made it look dirty. However, on closer inspection it was fine. The girls with me were a bit weary of the bathroom but once they had used it, they realised that it was clean. Our stay was pleasant. Place does need a face lift.

Being located opposite a great big factory isn't the most endearing of locations...
