We had a very comfortable stay in this very clean (I'm fussy about that) motel, which was refurbished in 2006. There was a single and double bed, T.V., table and chairs in our unit ..quite spacious for 2. Kitchen alcove was well stocked with crockery, cutlery, 2 hotplates microwave and fridge. The welcome was so very different from the one we had received in Hanmer Springs. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Gave great advice and hints for things to do and places to go and eat etc. Made us feel very welcome. Rooms have been recently renovated and are clean and comfortable with tea/coffee and basic cooking facilities...sofa and... more
