Stayed for one night, to go on a whale-watching tour. It was a pretty standard motel with comfortable, although slightly dated, units. The staff were very friendly. As many no doubt do, we stayed one night in Kaikoura to fit in some whale watching. This is a budget motel which adequately delivers all the basics. Clean and comfortable, all necessary facilites, with helpful owners. A short distance north of the town centre, but not a problem with a car. more
