The Urangan Motor Inn is one of many places to stay on the very long Esplanade of Hervery bay (the road must 5-10 Km's long!).

We stayed 2 different nights, before and after a trip to Fraser Island, in a 2 room family suite.

There's not much to say about it really, it's a fairly average Motel setup, you know ground floor rooms, parking outside your door etc.

A minor gripes would be that the walls are quite thin, we tuned our TV to the same channel as the next door room and could mute our TV while still hearing it from the next room. On the plus side it was pretty reasonable at around $100 for 5 of us per night.

The only other draw back is that it really is a fair drag from the 'main' restaurants of Hervey Bay, it's a drive rather than a walk to get to the centre. There are a couple of places nearby though and a good bakery / cafe for breakfast just next door. more
