The Ambassador Motor Lodge is better than it sounds, it certainly exceeded my expectations. It's more of a Hotel, with a Kitchenette, and I loved it. We stayed 4 nights here at the end of July, 07. Check-in was quick and painless, office staff friendly and willing to help. The room was big and roomy, with a queen bed and a single. I booked directly with this motel five months in advance of my intended stay. They said they wouldn't take a credit card number to confirm the booking, just "phone a couple of days before to confirm". I did phone two days before and they confirmed the booking was OK.
