My husband and I stayed at Penthouse 11 for 3 nights after our wedding this past November, as we had recently been backpacking and felt like spoiling ourselves a little - not to mention that the accommodation was almost directly across the road from the reception venue, which was very helpful.

On first (general) inspection, the apartment seemed quite nice. However, the name definitely gives false advertising, as the apartnent is just that - an apartment. It is not on the top level, nor a penthouse suite, so I am unclear on how they manage to justify coming up with that name. Anyway......

The apartment was very well cared for, and quite upper class. There were all kinds of things to do, even if it was wet (you can use the telescope on the balcony, watch Sky TV or DVDs, play the collection of boardgames they have there, etc), which is quite cool. There is a BBQ which is on the covered balcony, so you can still cook your dinner outside, or sit in the outdoor chairs... more
