Location great- easy foot access to a relaxed and interesting town centre. Sally and Neville have a great site here. Room great. Breakfast terrific. Our hosts could not have been better- helpful without being everywhere all the time. Lovely lounge and communal facilities- on both floors. Safe parking. Beuatiful gardens. More

The Cathedral Inn is no more than a 5 minute walk from the centre of Nelson, yet it is so peaceful most of the time that all we heard were the birds (being from Auckland, we were very excited to hear a morepork one night!) The walk itself is along paths through the beautiful grounds of Nelson Cathedral, and we... More

I would definitely recommend this B&B. Your hosts Sally and Neville will go out of their way to ensure your stay in town is perfect. They gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations, cooked amazing hearty breakfasts. You couldn't ask for more. It is a beautiful property, in one of the best locations in town, just a short 2 minute stroll to... More

Beautiful restoration; comfortable, quiet, spacious and well-furnished rooms; generous and hospitable hosts ready to solve problems, answer questions and share a yarn or two; evening aperitif and continuous coffee and bikkies - plus a killer breakfast. Home away from home. Only better. More

This beautifully restored Victorian home was a perfect place to stay. Our hosts were wonderful. Offered to wash our very dirty tramping clothes and drove us to collect our hire car when it was raining. Breakfast was delicious, Sally and Nevell went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted and that we were comfortable. A... More

This Victorian age home has a beautiful curving banister, lovely high ceilings and great access to the city. It is next to the old cathedral that dominates the city skyline and is surrounded by plantings both ornamental and for culinary use. Sally and Nevell provided useful information, made us reservations for our tour of Able Tasman Park and had umbrellas... More

We stayed at this old Victorian B&B in the dead of a cold winter, when there were no other guests. Our room was quite confortable and the breakfast was excellent. The best feature of the place, however, is the host couple - Neville and Sally Bennett. They are a lovely, hospitable couple who will do anything to help you enjoy... More
