The owners of the Consulate Apartments have created a sophisticated, modern and extremely comfortable serviced accommodation right in the heart of Nelson. The furnishings, amenities, and service resemble what you would expect from a five star property in any large city. For example, after arriving we were warmly welcomed by our hosts and learned that they had called their favorite restaurants and prepared a list of those that were open for a late dinner on Sunday (we loved Hopgoods and the Boatshed). Our hosts also stocked our kitchen with an amazing selection of snacks and provisions for breakfast. On the days that we did not feel like cooking, we received a coupon for a free breakfast and coffee at a fabulous cafe within walking distance.
