You will feel completely secluded in the midst of a vineyard in this lovely cottage--yet you are only minutes away from world class wineries and the lovely town of Napier. We visited during the off season (in June) but it was still breathtaking--lively birds and a sweet dog kept us entertained in the morning. Heather and Brett were lovely--stayed up past reasonable bedtime when we came in late the first evening. Privacy and natural beauty abound. Great value. We hope to return. more

Best Paddock Cottage is in a secluded area of a vineyard close to Hastings and is the BEST value for money. NZ$130 a night with breakfast provisions supplied and a nice bottle of red for the first night. This impeccable accommodation is outstanding, a 10 min walk to an icon winery Selini, 10 min drive to top rated Te Awa a must visit for lunch, Ngatarawa even closer great wines here, and other leading wineries nearby. We spent 4 days of bliss and will be back. Look on the web for Best Paddock Cottage and Vineyard and you are in for a terrific experience in NZ. more
