We had a lovely 2 night stay at Cardoness Lodge with Sarah. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with refreshing views of the vineyards and mountains surrounding you. We were treated to the most delicious, made to order breakfasts, by Sarah. They were comprised of eggs just collected from her chickens as well as freshly made muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt,... More

We had an amazing stay at Cardoness Lodge. The rooms are luxurious, the bed so comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. Loved the fact that the eggs come from Sarah's happy fat chickens and most of her ingredients are grown in her lovely vege garden. We did the On Yer Bike and Go Wineries tour, which was fantastic and the fact... More

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights, it was 'Art Deco' weekend in Napier. Our stay was short but most enjoyable with 5* accommodation and a 5* host, Sarah was wonderful, breakfast was most enjoyable, all cooked to order. The wine produced from the vineyard is delightful, the Chardonnay was smooth and very more ish. Thank you... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, Sarah was wonderful, and cooked a great dinner for us. it was the best dinner we had in the two weeks we stayed in New Zealand. She did a great pear salad with spinach and the salmon was moist and delicious! She did a great New Zealand dessert. The room was large... More

Spent a couple of nights here in the midst of a wine pilgrimage and had an absolute ball. Don’t really recall much about the facilities because I was so blasted most of the time but we sure were well taken care of! Might be pricier and with a bit less atmosphere than some places, but this definitley served us well.

My husband and I got married at Te Awa winery and proceeded to spend the first two nights of our honeymoon at the lodge. It was so lovely to come back to a warm quiet room after our wedding and it is conveniently close to Te Awa so we didn't have to travel far. We were both very tired the... More

My husband and I have stayed at the lodge a number of times over the last 2 years, with each visit being as wonderful as the one before. We keep going back! and shall continue to do so. The rooms are so comfortable, with luxurious fittings, and very clean. The views out onto the vineyard with the backdrop of the... More

My partner and I stayed here the weekend before Easter. Being in town for a wedding, we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice place to stay and I have to say we were very happy with our choice! The room was lovely. Spacious, cozy, and clean. We were very satisfied with the amenities provided and I loved the bathroom... More

This a a nice place and has a lot of great potential, however the nightly rate was too expensive for what you get. The room was clean and felt like home, however, the TV was old and had no digital channels. The scerney outside the room was very lovely, as it was set amoungst the vineyards. Breakfast each morning was... More
