Food was outstanding and accomodation first rate. Will come back with the family. Very friendly landlord and team. Good knowledge of the local area and very welcoming. Only disappointment was that January is a dry month for me and I couldn't sample the excellent selection of ales and cider.

I came here on a Sunday, and was greeted by the friendly staff upon arrival. We hadn't booked and although it was already very busy by 1pm we got a lovely table straight away in the dining room which had a great atmosphere, the roast was lovely and couldn't of asked for more, my husband can be a bit picky... Very comfortable, clean accommodation. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast excellent range and despite a limited evening menu the vegetarian dishes on offer were very tasty. Would thoroughly recommend this little gem if exploring the area.

We had Sunday lunch here recently with our 3 boys (inc 1 toddler). My wife and I, both in our 60's, had 2 nights at the three horseshoes 22nd and 23rd August. Its a lovely pub, very welcoming. We were made to feel at home straight away.
