There is not a lot of choice in Katherine, this motel is close to the only traffic lights in the town and therefore to any attractions you can find in the town. Basic describes much of the motel. Reservation and check-in were easy, the room we had was at the bottom end of the price range but reasonable for the money. TV reception was poor as was internet access - although the hotel has pay wifi, the signal strength does not easily reach distant parts of the motel. We ate in the restaurant one night, surprisingly good food well presented and cooked with inventive choices and good value. Being close to the centre of town, any disturbance in the town is easily heard but this should not put you off. more
