A very nice pub ,full of lots of memorabilia, meals were good, beer a bit expensive, but to be expected out here. There was a young touring band playing there ,and we had a great nite.Very friendly staff.the caravan park was a bit run down, but was only $20 per van per nite.

With little options between Coober pedy and Ayers Rock whilst on the road, Kulgera in summary, would be a place best suited to camp. The supposed deluxe suite for a family, had one the of worst showers I have ever experienced and a continual noise all night long and day due to rain. We never quite worked out what was... More

Stayed overnight on our trip to Alice Springs. Standard motel room ($115) = double and 2 single decent firm mattress beds. Clean sheets. Good shower, toilet, hand basin (but no exhaust fan nor opening window). Fridge, kettle, TV (only 2 channels with bad reception - not even ABC), table and 2 chairs. Paid Wifi available - no mobile coverage. Very... More

We were made to feel very welcome at the roadhouse. The rooms were basic but roomy and comfortable. The roast meal we had in the evening was generous and tasty. The wine selection is scanty but what was on offer was not expensive.

As a solo traveller I had a great stop here. Booked a motel room with ensuite which was old, but very tidy and there was plenty of tea and coffee provided. The owner was very hospitable as I had a good bar meal and drink in the pub. Would stop here again.

We booked ahead and the room was explained to us, double and single bed with ensuite. When we arrived we were surprised at the size of the room, and there were two single beds, plenty of room if you we're travelling with a family. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The air conditioner had been turned on and... More

We stayed with our Challenger here for one night on the way to Coober Pedy. Showers are ok and site is good with a pool. The pub is the best place to have fun and get a good beer during Happy Hour.

We had been travelling through Australia - on this leg we had driven north from Coober Pedy ....a long way though the heart of the bush. The great thing about this place was that it was just what you expect - an outback station! Basic, not frills but it had its own atmosphere........ the bar was full of locals. It... More
