My sister and I stayed for 6 nights in a one bedroom Emu Walk Apartment. We felt it was great for our needs. The kitchen included a microwave, an electric frypan, four hotplates and an electric kettle as well as 4 settings of cutlery , crockery and a useful selection of kitchen tools, pots and bowls. I slept on a... more

We only were staying the weekend ie. In on Saturday, out Sunday, so just needed the one night. There was 3 adults and 1 child...and we had no problems at with our 2 bedroom apartment. Yes Voyages has the monopoly (though I believe they've sold) but we were pleasantly surprised - the staff were nice, the apartment was clean, beds... more

Read various reviews on the apartments and people are probably about right. The complex as a whole is a bit tired and could do with some tlc to bring it up to date. However you are in the desert and it is really all about the rock which is spectacular and will take your breathe away. The 2bd apartment we... more

We chose the Emu Walk Apartments since we were traveling with another couple, and this way we could share a room and save some money. Unfortunately, we did not realize there was only one bathroom (okay when you're a family, but a bit of a challenge for 2 unrelated couples). The apartment was loaded with dead bugs of all kinds... more

Our motel room was a 2 bdrm apartment. It had ants all through the bathroom and kitchen. Some even ended up in my Daughters dinner. The sofa bed had been broken but had been 'fixed' by using 2 pieces of wire crossed over to stop the mattress from falling. We ended up taking the mattress off the bed and using... more

We chose the Emu Walk apartments because we are a family of two adults and two children and we wanted the convenience of separate bedrooms. I specifically requested two single beds in the second room but we were given two rooms that both had queen beds. There are 12 two bedroom apartments in the resort and only half have singles... more

We took advantage of a special 3 night package when we stayed together with another couple at the Emu Walk apartments in early September. Because we were able to to share the costs we got a 2 bedroom apartment for $156/night per couple which I don't think was too bad really. You do have to search to find the right... more

It doesn't take much resort to see that Voyages have a monopoly at Uluru. Why that is allowed is beyond me quite frankly. As a result they get away with charging silly prices for below standard accommodation. I read a lot of people saying that it is far away from everything, should expect high prices etc. I can't agree, they... more

We selected the apartment option at the resort to have space and flexibility with meals, and were not disappointed. Check-in was slow, decor is just a little "tired" and aircon rather noisy. No other complaints. We got an excellent rate for 3 days on resort's own site - cheaper to book for 3 nights than 2! The local supermarket is... more

Whilst I would rate the overall experience 3* the accommodation would be lucky to get 2* certainly not the rating of 4* given to Emu Walk by Voyages. Looked forward to our visit to the red centre. We were not disappointed with the sights, Uluru and Kata Tjuta. However the two roomed apartment leaved lots to be desired. The beds... more
