Whilst passing by Wangaratta in the dead of the night on our way to Falls Creek, it became clear we'd done enough travelling for the day. We stayed here for one night over the Australia Day long weekend on our way to Canberra. We booked on the basis of the tripadvisor reviews and overall it was an okay stay. This was a nice, clean, modern motel, in a central location in Wangaratta. The hotel had a nice looking pool and had electric blankets (which came in handy). I had a business meeting until 9pm and didn't want to drive back to Melbourne. I looked on wotif and found this place for $110...and got the Superior Queen with balcony. This Hotel is a buet place. Stayed here a couple of times with the kids and they loved it too! For recreation have a work out in the gym or for a swim in their luxury pool.
