We spent 14 days at the Alisei and had booked bed & breakfast. The rich breakfast includes delicious fruits and fresh pressed juice. The Alisei is strategically located within walking distance to the town and to beautiful beaches. So, different to the hotels at Playa Bonita you won't feel trapped. The Alisei has a spacious pool with a whirlpool section... more

My husband and I had the unique pleasure of staying at the Alisei Hotel in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic. We have traveled to many beach resorts in the world, but this was truly the closest thing to Paradise that we have encountere. We had the most wonderful time. The hotel is so conveniently located to a bustling typical Dominican town,... more

The hotel is new, comfortable and practical yet high standard, and the staff is amazing. The restaurant is very good, and reasonably priced, and they'll bring anything you want to your room. They also make awesome cocktails there! We tried the spa for a massage, and it was nothing short of heavenly. The view is breathtaking, the hotel conveniently located... more

My family spent the Christmas Holidays 2008 at Hotel Alisei, Las Terrenas. Everybody, from children to grand parents, loved the hotel. High comfort but not luxurious. Large, comfortable, apartments, wonderful balconies with pool and sea-view. The staff was always friendly and helpful and Steve in at the resturant made great dinners. The ladies at the SPA painted our nails really... more

There si no doubt that this has been our best family holiday so far!! We have been in Alisei for 2 weeks with our two kids (2 and 4) and we have appreciated the spacious rooms, the well equipped kitchen and the nice and clean bathrooms. The service was excellent an the atmosphere of the whole complex was very relaxing.... more

We stayed for one night and it was worht it. Very clean eco friendly rooms. . Kitchenette has everything you need to cook favorite meals. The pool clean and quiet. The restaurant was good, we went during a slow time so had no problems with delays of food. The beach was not the best in Las Terrenas, it actually had... more

Stayed just for 1 night (unfortunately), but let me tell you, what great value and sorry I couldn't have stayed longer. Beautiful villa, very clean, great bathrooms, fantastic restaurant. It is right on the beach (across from a very small, dirt road, but on the beach nonetheless). The staff were very friendly, inviting and genuinely wanted to help. I wish... more

A snow storm stranded us in Toronto so we missed our connection to Miami and the embarkation on our Carribbean cruise. The airlines said we would not fly out for a few days but then our travel agent found a flight to Samana in the Dominican Republic where we could meet up with our ship. When we arrived in the... more

I intended to stay only one night at this little hotel in Las Terrenas, but ended up staying three nights. The hotel itself is in perfect condition; new buildings and rooms, all amenities needed (TV, WiFi etc), nice pool, cute little lawns. The terraces almost all have wonderful views on the ocean and some even have hammocks on the terraces... more

The roads into and surrounding the village of Las Terrens are horrible! Pot holes everywhere!! This is our fourth vacation to this area - and doubtful we will return if this problem doesn't get addressed. Hotel accommodations were great! However, the restaurant was a huge disappointment! Terrible food - three of four in our party got sick from eating there.... more
